In Singapore, the majority of subscription plans begin with “select a plan, delivery to you, you enjoy.” Well, that may be the case but it does not inform you about what goes on behind the scenes, which will reveal the true gap between great subscriptions and terrible ones. We provide details on how our four Singapore flower subscriptions work in action here, right down to the fine print that most florists don’t write down. If you just want the quick takeaways, follow these four key steps below to get 80% of the story.

The four steps, in order

Every subscription with us — regardless of product type — follows the same four-step flow:

  1. Choose your product and cadence. Pick one of our four subscription types and the frequency that suits your life. You can mix multiple products on one account.
  2. Tell us about your space and preferences. Three short questions on signup: where the flowers or plants will live, your colour preferences, and any allergies or pet considerations.
  3. Receive your delivery. Free islandwide delivery, conditioned and ready to display or arrange. We notify you the morning of delivery with an estimated time window.
  4. Adjust as life changes. Pause, skip, swap, or cancel anytime via WhatsApp. Three days’ notice for changes; no fees beyond your first delivery.

How each subscription type works

How the loose stalk subscription works

The stems will be purchased from the wholesale flower market twice or three times a week. After picking the stems, we will treat them at our studio — cut ends will be freshly cut, leaves under the water line removed, and then soaked well for their first drink. So when you get your flowers delivered, they have already undergone the same treatment process that a florist does before arranging them.

Each subscription will come to you aqua-packed (with stems placed in a water reservoir rather than being in a dry bunch and wrapped in paper). You’ll also receive an arrangement guide for that particular week’s floral selection. The card will name all the flowers and suggest a vase form along with three different styling choices (tight bouquet, loose hand tied, high-low style).

How the arranged flower subscription works

The same source of fresh flowers as those provided as stalks. However, we style them at our studio instead of in your kitchen based on the preferences you tell us, and we use either the vase you suggest or provide one during the first delivery. The floral artist who is assigned to you remains the same throughout each subscription period and learns about your home to make aesthetically pleasing compositions that keep getting better.

How the phalaenopsis orchid subscription works

A slightly unusual service compared to other services. On the first day, we provide you with an already blooming plant of the chosen colour or variety, which will stay in full bloom in your space for the duration of about six to eight weeks. Once the flowering fades, we collect the plant on its designated rotation date, deliver another plant, and give the collected one back to our nursery to bloom again.

You don’t have to pot the plant anew, fertilise it, and encourage blooming – we take care of everything. You simply enjoy the flowers of one plant for up to eight weeks, and then another for six to eight weeks. We adjust the frequency of delivery based on the life cycle of each plant – it takes six to eight weeks on average to flower.

How the live plant subscription works

A quarterly delivery cycle because plants are slow growers and cannot adjust quickly. At the start of your subscription, we ask three key questions related to your space: light, air conditioner usage, and your involvement. Based on your answers, we choose species from our tested collection that fit your environment.
If something goes wrong, please notify us immediately – yellowish, droopy leaves or wilting that persists even after watering. We will deliver a new specimen for free, take the struggling one back to our nursery, and take care of everything there. After two or three deliveries, we know which species grow well in your environment.

how subscription work

What happens if a delivery isn't right

Tell us within 48 hours and we replace it. We don’t ask for photographs. We don’t ask you to send the flowers back. We don’t open a support ticket. The whole point of a subscription is removing friction from your week, and that includes the friction of arguing with us about a delivery that didn’t meet our standard.

For live plants specifically, the replacement window is longer — anytime within the quarter, not just 48 hours. Plants take longer to show signs of struggle, so we give you time to spot the issue.

Pausing, skipping, and changing your subscription

This is the part all flower subscription subscribers wish more flower subscription providers made crystal clear. Here’s how it’s done.

Subscription pause

Taking time off for vacation? Simply inform us on WhatsApp of your request for a subscription pause with a minimum of 3 days’ notice, prior to the day of your next delivery. There’s zero charge and a completely flexible duration for your pause – we will pick up where we left off from on whichever date you choose.

Skip one delivery cycle

Would you prefer skipping just one delivery cycle? (Say, during the weekends you have planned?) No problem, we will honor this with your three days’ advance notice.

Product swap options

Need to change from an arrangement format to loose stems for a while? Want to try out our premium flowers instead of the standard ones? Or perhaps you want to switch color schemes for Chinese New Year festivities? All these product changes can be accomplished simply via WhatsApp message. They’ll take effect for your next scheduled delivery.

Cancellation

Simply send us a cancellation notice via WhatsApp or your account dashboard. Your only obligation will be the first delivery, which means no fixed minimum duration or cancellation fee thereafter.

How office subscriptions work differently

All of the above applies to office subscriptions as well, except for three points that need mentioning.

Multiple product types on one invoice

The typical office subscription bundle includes pre-arranged vases in the reception area, phalaenopsis at the entrance, and live plant arrangements on desks. It is invoiced on a monthly basis through a single invoice.

On-site placement on first delivery

A designated florist visits the venue, sets up all the arrangements, takes photos for our records, and notes preferences for subsequent deliveries. Subsequent deliveries could simply involve dropping off the plants at the reception, or visiting your place and setting them up depending on what you prefer.

Building access and after-hours delivery.

We manage the process of clearing security at CBD buildings, late-night deliveries when needed, and coordinating multiple locations in Singapore.

how we source and condition our flowers

How we source and treat our flowers This is the level of logistics that no other Singapore florist will commit to paper. :

Sourcing: Our flowers come from flower farms with documented good ethical and environmental practices. Mass auction flowers go through far too many cold chains before arriving in Singapore. Each added cold chain results in reduced vase life. Sourcing directly from the farm extends this life considerably.

Cold chain: From our shop until they leave our hands, all flowers are treated in a continuous cold chain process. The cold chain interruption that kills most subscription flowers is between wholesale warehouse and delivery; we minimize this time window to its absolute limit.

Treatment: All flowers are trimmed, submerged leaves are removed, and they are refreshed with a thorough drink of water before being handed over. This is what most loose stalk services miss out on and why they have shorter lives than ours.

When and where do you deliver?

Free islandwide delivery anywhere in Singapore — HDBs, condos, landed homes, and offices including all CBD buildings. You choose your delivery day at signup, and you can change it cycle-by-cycle if your schedule shifts.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

Not necessary. We hydrate the flowers before sending and place them carefully outside your doorstep if no one is home. For office deliveries, reception drop-off is standard. For high-rise condos with strict access, give us the security details at signup and we’ll coordinate.

How are allergies handled?

Tell us at signup or anytime via WhatsApp and we’ll exclude flowers you’re allergic to. For severe allergies — particularly to lilies, sunflowers, or strongly-scented varieties — we recommend the live plant or phalaenopsis subscriptions instead, both of which are low-allergen by nature.

I have pets — can I still subscribe?

Yes. Tell us about your pets and we’ll exclude varieties that are toxic to cats or dogs. Lilies are the main one to avoid for cat households; we have a longer list we work from. The general rule still applies: keep your pet from munching on any plants or flowers, even non-toxic ones.

What if a flower or plant arrives wrong?

Message us within 48 hours for cut flowers, or anytime within the quarter for live plants. We replace at no charge with no documentation required.

Can I gift this subscription to someone else?

Yes. Gift mechanics — message cards, scheduled-to-recipient delivery, surprise vs consultation flow — are covered on our gift subscription page.

How long do the flowers last?

Cut flowers: five days minimum with normal care, often seven to ten days. Delicate varieties like peonies and irises peak at three to four days. Phalaenopsis: six to eight weeks of bloom per plant. Live plants: indefinite, with replacement at no charge if any plant struggles in your environment.
